Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy for Daily Checks
Effective date: April 19, 2026. This page is written for Play Store publishing and
explains how Daily Checks handles user information.
1. Information the app uses
Daily Checks stores checklist items, timestamps, streak values, and reminder settings on
the user's device. The app also uses Google services such as AdMob and Firebase Cloud
Messaging, which may process device identifiers, messaging tokens, and service-related
diagnostic data.
2. Purpose of data use
Data is used to run the app, save checklist progress, deliver reminders or push
notifications, support ads, and maintain service reliability.
3. Local storage
User checklist content is stored locally on the device. The developer does not run a
personal backend server for storing this checklist data.
4. Third-party services
The app may use Google AdMob for advertising and Firebase Cloud Messaging for push
notifications. These third-party services operate under their own privacy policies.
5. Advertising
Ads may be shown in the app using AdMob banner and interstitial formats. Advertising
services may use device-level identifiers and usage signals as permitted by Google.
6. Notifications
The app can send local notifications and Firebase push notifications. Push delivery may
depend on a Firebase messaging token linked to the app installation.
7. Data sharing
The developer does not sell personal information. Limited data processing may occur
through service providers required for ads and messaging.
8. User controls
Users can uninstall the app, clear app storage, control notification permissions, and
manage some ad preferences through Google and device settings.
9. Security and retention
Reasonable platform and provider tools are used, but absolute security cannot be
guaranteed. Local data remains on the device until removed or until the app is
uninstalled.
10. No warranty
The software is provided on an "as is" basis without warranty or guarantee of
uninterrupted service, complete accuracy, or fitness for a specific purpose.
